As part of the Orange Central 2018 celebration, set for October 18-21 and featuring a full calendar of programming across campus, Whitman will host two exciting events:
The Whitman Annual Alumni Awards Ceremony and Reception – Thursday, October 18, 5 p.m.
The awards ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. in Whitman’s Flaum Grand Hall. A reception will immediately follow the presentation of awards. Stay tuned for the announcement of this year’s distinguished honorees.
The Fourth Annual Orange Tank Competition & Networking Reception – Friday, October 19, 1 p.m.
Our Fourth Annual Orange Tank, set for a 1 p.m. start in Whitman’s Flaum Grand Hall, will feature Whitman student and alumni entrepreneurs pitching their businesses to a panel of judges for a chance to win a cash prize made possible through a generous gift from Mark ’83 and Judi ’84 (VPA) Morris. A networking reception, starting at approximately 3pm, will follow the announcement of this year’s winning ventures. Applications to pitch at this year’s competition will be accepted from Whitman alumni through August 31 and from Whitman students through September 14.
