Julia Haber (left) and Kelsey Davis (right) are featured panelists this week at Adweek’s CMO Moves Summit, February 5 at Google Headquarters in NYC.  They will be joining luminaries such as the chief marketing officer of GE, global vice president of partner solutions of Spotify, U.S. chief marketing officer of Deloitte, chief marketing officer of the New York Times, chief media officer of Verizon, global head of experiential marketing for Pinterest, chief marketing and digital officer at Target, and VP of global marketing for Google.  The one-day event features a small exclusive slate of top speakers, and Haber and Davis were selected as thought leaders who are connecting brands to the GenZ marketplace, which is already at about a quarter of the U.S. population, and projected to eclipse Millennials in size.

Haber ’18 (Newhouse) is the founder and CEO of WAYV Inc., which she began in her first year at Syracuse University.  WAYV is the brand of the college market, unlocking hyper-tailored experiences for college students. WAYV crafts experiential data driven pop up shops on college campuses across the country. With WAYV and her earliest pop-up shop iterations, Haber worked with national brands such as Lululemon, Rent The Runway and Shopify, and partnered with companies such as AT&T and Adobe.  She launched an entrepreneurial student organization, VISION, and worked closely with the Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars at SU Libraries to develop her business model, which won second place in the Panasci Business Plan Competition.  After graduating, she launched WAYV, and brought a pop-up, powered by Shopify, to the Syracuse campus, as part of a multi-campus tour.

Davis ’19 (Newhouse) G ’20 (Whitman) is the Founder and CEO of CLLCTVE, a platform that empowers the next generation of college creatives by connecting creatives with brands looking to reach Generation Z.  She has been featured on The New York Times and Adweek, and created the column “#AskGenZ” for MediaVillage.com.  Prior to CLLCTVE, Kelsey worked in production for Conde Nast Entertainment and UniWorld Group.  She is also a Rubin Family Innovation Mentor at the Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars at SU Libraries. Davis won numerous campus competitions, including ‘Cuse Tank, Impact Prize, iPrize, and  Orange Tank. Davis and the CLLCTVE team were also recently selected to be part of the prestigious LaunchPad Lift program powered by Techstars and won second place in the 2019 LaunchPad – Techstars Propel global network competition.

Haber and Kelsey Davis were both featured on AdWeek magazine’s “Gen ZEOs, the Top Entrepreneurs of Generation Z” podcast.

Adweek acquired CMO Moves LLC a year ago, to provide industry insights from CMOs.  At the time, Adweek CEO Jeffrey Litvack said, “Recognizing that the CMO’s role in the C-suite is only expanding, Adweek is committed to being an ally and asset for these talented individuals. Our mission is focused on helping marketers to do their job better, and this acquisition will undoubtedly propel us further forward.”  The goal of the partnership is to build deeper relationships with the brand community.  Adweek first published in 1979 and has been expanding its events, including Brandweek, a three-day conference and corresponding magazine that recently relaunched.
