The one-year, fully-funded master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve to deepen understanding between China and the rest of the world. The program is open to candidates aged 18 to 28, regardless of nationality, who are proficient in English and have an undergraduate degree or its equivalent.
The program was developed through the Blackstone Charitable Foundation and Blackstone Founder Stephen A. Schwarzman. Syracuse students — especially those who have been engaged with the campus Blackstone LaunchPad program — are encouraged to apply.
Schwarzman Scholars is designed to meet the challenges of the 21st century and beyond. It was inspired by the Rhodes Scholarship, which was founded in 1902 to promote international understanding and peace.
