September 30 is the deadline to apply to the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA). EO is composed of over 12,000 of the world’s most influential entrepreneurs, and is a private peer-to-peer group transforming the lives of those who transform the world.
EO GSEA nominees compete in qualifying competitions for the chance to advance to the Global Finals. With more than 1,700 competitors from more than 30 countries, EO GSEA is an exclusive opportunity for student entrepreneurs to make connections, find resources, and grow their businesses.
Syracuse University students are encouraged to apply. They must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, own a business that has been operational for a minimum of six consecutive months, have at least $500 in revenue, or have $1,000 in investment or external funding. The applicant must be principally responsible for the operation of the company at the time of application.
Students will compete for $10,000 in local prizes. The EO will pay for travel and lodging expenses paid for one local finalist to compete at US Nationals in Denver, Colorado January 10-11, 2019. Travel and lodging will be paid for one US Nationals Finalist to compete at Global Finals in Macau, China April 10-12, 2019.
