March 22 is deadline to apply on-line for Compete CNY — the regional qualifier for the New York State Business Plan Competition (NYBPC). Syracuse University students who compete in the RvD iPrize, supported by the Raymond von Dran (RvD) Fund for Student Entrepreneurship at the School of Information Studies, will be automatically entered in the Compete CNY competition, which is coordinated by the Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars Syracuse University. Both competitions run concurrently on March 29, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Bird Library.
Student teams can submit an application for one of the following categories, which were selected by the state competition organizer, the Upstate Capital Association of NY. Syracuse students must be sure to select their region as Central New York to be considered for the RvD iPrize and NY Business Plan Competition.

The iSchool and the Blackstone LaunchPad at Syracuse University organize application workshops to help Syracuse students prepare for the competition. Workshops are being held in the LaunchPad in Bird Library.
The 2019 combined Compete CNY / RvD iPrize competition will be held on Friday, March 29 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Blackstone LaunchPad in Bird Library.
