LaunchPad founders at “Innovation and Invention” alumni event in NYC

LaunchPad founders and alumni are among the special featured guests at a SU alumni event in NYC this Thursday evening, February 7.  There is still time to RSVP and join more than 100 SU alumni from all academic programs, and meet the original founding members of the LaunchPad: Quentin Rosso, founder, RadarSet; • Kate Beckman, founder, FreshU;  Julia Haber, founder, WAYV; Brandon Eng, founder, Excel Prep; Dylan Kim, founder, Brevite; and Georgio Parloto, founder Miraku.

The Syracuse University Alumni Association Spotlight Series will be highlighting SU’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity. Syracuse University Trustee Arielle Tepper ’94 will moderate an engaging discussion about creative entrepreneurship with Yev Yesilevskiy, director of Invent@SU and Linda Dickerson Hartsock, executive director of the Blackstone LaunchPad.

The program will also feature networking receptions, food, and drinks.  The agenda is

6 p.m. — Alumni Reception
6:45 p.m. — Panel Discussion
7:35 p.m. — Reception Continues

The event will be held at Helen Mills, 137 W 26th St., NY, NY 10001.  The cost is$10 for alumni and their guests; $5 for youth (under the age of 21) which includes drinks, appetizers, and our program.  If you are a LaunchPad alumnus, feel free to e-mail us directly and let us know you’ll be coming so we can recognize you, and help network with the 100+ other alumni leaders who will be attending.
