This is your last chance to reserve a free table for The Blackstone LaunchPad’s ’Cuse Market – a “pop-up” shop and demo alley on the first floor Learning Commons of Bird Library.  This semester’s even will be Friday, October 26 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  It is sponsored by the Blackstone LaunchPad.

This year’s event is also part of Family Weekend, offering students the opportunity to show and sell their work to an even larger audience.  “Orange families” from around the country and around the globe will be coming for the weekend, and this event will be a fun showcase for student innovators.

Each semester the LaunchPad invites faculty, staff, students and alumni to display their creative work, whether it is a product, service or technology. Part demo alley and part market bazaar, it is an opportunity to browse ideas being invented at Syracuse University – from health and wellness products to artisan goods, packaged foods, fashion and apparel, jewelry, furniture, 3D printed items, industrial designs and gadgets.  ’Cuse Market also welcomes creative entrepreneurs.  Are you a musician, photographer, artist, filmmaker, graphic designer, sound or lighting engineer? Are you a web developer, creator of a new mobile app, software platform or unique online product or service? This is your chance to shine the spotlight on what you’re creating.

Set up a laptop to demo your technology or service, bring prototypes of products you are developing, or a display of actual wares.  Be sure to bring along your marketing materials, including business cards, brochures, poster displays, signage, or other visuals that will help capture attention.

The entire campus community is invited to meet Syracuse innovators who are showcasing their ideas, as well as new products, services and technologies.  Bird Library is the busiest building on campus, with more than 8,000 visitors a day.

This is always a popular annual event with hundreds of attendees, so don’t miss your last chance to reserve your free display table early on-line at:  https://bit.ly/2OUsxFz
