Kelsey Davis, Gen ZEO and founder of CLLCTVE, featured in Adweek

Kesley Davis

“As a student at Syracuse University, Kelsey Davis was already landing video gigs with companies like Coca-Cola, Land Rover and Conde Nast,” reads the opening of a recent Adweek article by Nick Gardner about Kelsey Davis, ’19 (Newhouse) and G ’20 (Whitman).  “She quickly realized how difficult it was to be a creative freelancer in a high-intensity, academic environment and succeed at both. That’s when she had the idea to start Cllctve, a digital platform and multimedia agency (private beta launching Q1 2020) that connects college creatives looking for paying jobs with major brands, both at a global and local level.”

Davis, who is the winner of many campus business plan competitions, is one of this year’s Rubin Family Innovation Mentors at the Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars at SU Libraries.  She was the subject of a profile piece in Adweek as part of a series on GenZEOs talking about how Gen Z is shaping a new wave of content creation across America, and how Generation Z consumers are increasingly focusing time and energy on content that consistently value.
