Kelsey Davis ’19 G’20 recently returned to campus to share her reflections with Syracuse student startups at a visit to the LaunchPad, as well as at a series of alumni events. As she describes it in this SU News story, her experiences at Syracuse were her “launching ground of dreams.”

Davis studied television, radio and film in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and earned an M.S. in entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. She is the founder and CEO of CLLCTVE, a portfolio platform connecting creators, and was involved with Blackstone LaunchPad at Syracuse University Libraries. Her impressive startup experiences got her featured as a GenZ leader in Forbes 30 Under 30, Adweek and The New York Times. She was also just named one of 2022’s Influential Leaders by AACSB International, the accrediting body of business schools.

She is a LaunchPad alumni entrepreneur in residence and remains active mentoring current student startups. She returns often to the LaunchPad to hold office hours and meet with new student founders. Additionally, she has created employment and internship opportunities for Syracuse University students as she scaled.

“My advice is don’t be afraid to create the life you want,” says Davis, who graduated from the LaunchPad into Techstars LA, is now finalizing a major fundraising round and accelerating her venture in Tulsa, OK — a new hotbed for creative tech talent. “Keep creating. Go explore and chase your dreams.”

Davis was also a featured speaker at the recent Blackstone LaunchPad annual conference in San Francisco. The event brought together LaunchPad staff and students from 46 campuses in the global network, and was hosted by the Blackstone Charitable Foundation.
