Jacqueline (Jackie) Kunzler is Senior Vice President & Chief Quality Officer of Baxter Healthcare Corporation, an organization of nearly 5,000 employees responsible for providing a broad portfolio of essential renal and hospital products. Jackie has been with Baxter since 1993 serving across many roles. Jackie has bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Medical Technology from University of Iowa, an MS in Toxicology from the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine, an MBA from Benedictine University, and a Ph.D in Neuroscience/Cell Biology from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Jackie also is boarded by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the American Board of Toxicology, as well as serving as a committee member with the PDA/FDA and the MDIC/FDA.
She currently leads the worldwide quality organization in the development and implementation of strategies to achieve our operational, business and regulatory compliance goals. Responsible for approximately 5,000 employees in Quality operations in 70+ drug, device, solution and compounding sites including Product Quality (R&D liaison), Compliance, Internal audit, Supplier Quality, Product Surveillance and Complaint Management, Inspection Readiness and numerous other functions.
She was also named 2014 Woman Scientist of the Year by Girls4Science for demonstrating leadership, innovation and for serving as a role model for young girls and women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math).
