Dennis Taussig and Tom Nerviano, Blackstone LaunchPad expert mentors, are joining the LaunchPad as Entrepreneurs in Residence this spring. The team will be offering both individualized and team coaching sessions every other Friday, starting January 18 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The duo bring subject matter expertise in strategy, team building, operations and management, as well as marketing and business development. Their combined experience as successful serial entrepreneurship and executives at fast growth companies, along with their energy and enthusiasm for working with student startups, make them valuable additions to the LaunchPad team.
Dennis Taussig, is CEO of Taussig + Associates, a communication design firm dedicated to attract, inspire and motivate people to respond to messages. Whether driving sales or building a brand, Taussig + Associates attacks every challenge with a strategic process utilizing creativity, market research and problem-solving to develop meaningful solutions that create long-lasting, emotional connections. He is also a frequent judge for Whitman School Business Plan Competitions.
Tom Nerviano, is Managing Partner of Smart Vines Consulting, providing advice and guidance on organizational development, job design, employee engagement, HR policies and procedures, employee engagement, organizational development, hiring, coaching, talent acquisition and management, and team building. He was previously HR Director of Unilever for 33 years, where he managed organizational development, and employee and labor relations across the North American manufacturing network. He led a team of 40 HR professionals deployed across 17 factory locations. He also worked in customer development to achieve the ambition of One Unilever by integrating the Foods and Home & Personal Care organizations. He is considered a trusted advisor with strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically, to uncomplicate issues, and to bring pragmatic and effective solutions.
Taussig and Nerviano will be available for individual appointments, drop-ins, or group sessions. The dates they will be here are: January, 18, February 1, February 15, March 1, March 22, April 5, April 19 and May 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
