
Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students are invited to a startup idea fest to meet new people and pitch for a chance at four $1,000 prizes. Come to “Startup in a Day” on Saturday, October 23 at Bird Library, sponsored by the Blackstone LaunchPad. Students who are new to entrepreneurship ore have never won money at a pitch competition are welcome to the free, fun “think outside the box” day. RSVP by October 21 here.
Spend an enjoyable day of food and fun — from lunch at noon, to an energized kick off with speakers, ice breaker games, goodies, team brainstorming with awesome other innovators and creatives, rapid fire pitches and four $1,000 prizes announced at 3 p.m. Winners have the chance to go on to a national competition and win $10,000.
Master of ceremonies will be LaunchPad Program Manager Sam Hollander who was the top prize winning student founder at Syracuse University in 2020 – 2021
The event is free for students, including lunch and dinner.
