If you want to reach the world with your big idea, it all starts with research and discovery.  This Global Entrepreneurship Week, develop that insight with a Business Research Workshop, offered Wednesday, November 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Blackstone LaunchPad.

Could you benefit from learning starting points and strategies for finding existing industry and market research?

In this 90-minute workshop open to all, led by Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship Librarian Stephanie JH McReynolds, participants will learn how to identify relevant industry (NAICS) codes and how to use those codes to find industry reports in industry research databases, such as IBISWorld. Participants will also learn about market research databases and will have the opportunity to find at least one relevant market research report in Mintel or MarketResearch.com Academic. If time allows, participants will be introduced to business article database search strategies and will be encouraged to find at least one relevant article in a business article database, such as ABI/INFORM or Business Source Elite.

(Important note for EEE 457 students: You have already participated in a version of this workshop in your EEE 457 course this fall.)
