Join Auden Schendler, senior vice president of sustainability at Aspen Skiing on Friday, November 8 at 3:30 at Eggers Hall 010 for a discussion as part of Maxwell’s Environment, Sustainability and Policy Speaker series. Schendler focuses on big scale solutions to climate change and is a climate activist who has mobilized the global snowsports community around this issue. He is also author of the book “Getting Green Done: Hard Truths from the Frontline of the Sustainability Revolution.” His topic is a great prelude to the Hult Prize competition which focuses this year on big ideas to address climate change. The Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars at Syracuse University Libraries coordinates the campus Hult Prize competition, which is considered the student Nobel Prize equivalent for impact entrepreneurship. This year’s competition is November 22 at Bird Library, and applications are open through November 15.
