Amy Ruta, an environmental engineer and a third year law school student at Syracuse University, will be providing Syracuse University innovators insight on intellecutal property protection and other issues at the Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars at SU Libraries, Thursday October 17 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The program is in partnership with the Innovation Law Center+ New York State Science and Law Technology Center at Syracuse University.
In addition to attending law school, Amy is currently employed as a Senior Engineer with Parsons Infrastructure of Syracuse and has extensive engineering and project experience involving all phases of environmental remediation and contaminated site investigation. Amy is focusing on environmental law and is also currently employed as a Law Clerk with Hancock Estabrook, LLP of Syracuse in their environmental department. She has been an environmental engineer for 16 years.
