Join PowerSpike CEO AJ Damiano ’18 for a founder’s chat on February 8

AJ Damiano ’18, tech founder, executive, competitive gamer, and startup advisor will be our guest speaker, Tuesday February 8 at 5 p.m. at the LaunchPad.  Founder, president, and CEO of PowerSpike, Inc., the world’s first influencer exchange built for the esports space, he built the company as a Whitman student at Syracuse University after previously serving as a shoutcaster for ESL, the world’s largest esports company.  Prior to ESL, Damiano was both a competitive gamer and content creator, producing instructional gaming videos on both YouTube and Twitch.tv.  He was recently named to the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 List. He is also an active LaunchPad Entrepreneur in Residence, advising current Syracuse University student startups.

Damiano built the company while completing a dual Whitman degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprise. While in college, Damiano won over $46,000 in business plan competitions for PowerSpike, was selected to become part of Techstars Atlanta, and then went on to raise several million dollars in outside equity while scaling the company.
