One of the featured kick-off events for Global Entrepreneurship Week at Syracuse University will be Funder/Founder Speed Networking, sponsored by the Whitman School of Management, its Entreprenership and Emerging Enterprises program, and the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University.

The festive networking event will be Monday November 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Flaum Grand Hall of the Whitman School of Management.

Consistently ranked as one of the top entrepreneurship programs in the nation, Whitman’s Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises (EEE) department helps students discover their innate entrepreneurial potential, giving them a set of tools and perspective to capitalize on that potential.  Many of the students in the program come from all disciplines across the university.

Speed Networking participants can choose between two tracks:

Speed Dating: Join 12 prominent investors and funders for speed dating. Get your ideas out and test your business model with some of the best minds who can give you feedback. Start building relationships with potential investors and funders. Perfect your pitch with professionals who make investment decisions that help launch and grow ventures.

Speed networking: Meet other like-minded entrepreneurs, share ideas and speed network to find team members and meet potential mentors.
